When People Say Obama Ran A Great Campaign

This is what crosses my mind:

There’s been a lot of talk about how the mainstream media failed the country during this last election cycle, and that because of that failure their days are numbered.

I have to disagree. I think the media performed flawlessly during the two year election cycle. They managed the story, shielded their candidate, attacked the opposition, sat on damaging stories, and in short did everything a good state run media should do during an election cycle.

Haha, by “state run media” I hope he means private individuals and companies exercising their First Amendment rights.

And he clearly forgot about Fox News, which clearly loved John McCain and couldn’t talk enough about Bill Ayers.

But whenever conservatives bash the MSM they always leave out Fox News, probably because they too realize that it’s not actually news.

LOL!!! Long live the “private” media! I know Steve hates private business.

Unfortunately, FOX news, although they are interested in conservative issues, is run by idiots. The amount of hard reporting on that station is appallingly little. So instead they harp on talking points and sound like idiots.

I’m no fan of Fox News but the amount of ‘hard reporting’ they do is rivaled only by CNN and MSNBC.

I realize that the guy’s language is a little strong but you can’t possibly think the media did not assist Obama in the least election. Only a fool could think otherwise.
