Yeah, I just saw Benjamin Button, and it was good, but it definitely doesn’t deserve as many nominations as it got. Best Actor for Brad Pitt? No way. He’s a good enough actor, but he didn’t do anything in this film to deserve that. Clint Eastwood was better in Gran Torino. Best Picture? Hardly. They should take it out and replace it with the Dark Knight, which I am happy to see also got several nominations, or Wall-E. Both better movies than Button.

Hell, Robert Downey Jr. was better in Iron Man than Brad Pitt in Button.
I like In Bruges for Writing, it had most entertaining dialogue I heard all year. Its one of those movies you can just listen to and be entertained.
And Ledger better get one for the Joker, that was one of the best characters I had ever seen.

What happened to the days when you needed to make a boring, 2.5 hour movie about racial tenisions in LA to win an award?
